Week At A Glance:

Math: We will review multiplication, area, and perimeter. How do we multiply whole numbers? What is area and perimeter?

Science: We are going to start back our unit on electricity and light. How is electricity a form of energy and how can be transformed? What are the components of a complete circuit? What is a series and parallel circuit? What are conductors?

Language Arts: We will be reading Stealing Home. Our focus will be identifying similarities and differences between characters, setting and plot. We will also write a summary of our story. Our spelling words focus on unusual plural forms of words. We will also distinguish between singular and plural nouns. Please note our Spelling Test and Comprehension Clicker Quiz for our story will both be on THURSDAYS unless otherwise noted!

Social Studies: We will begin Chapter 7 and discussion of the Spanish and French colonies. We will also begin to discuss the French and Indian War.
